The small-screen heartthrob has lent his voice for ‘Musafir’ song, ‘Poth jana nei’, composed and directed by Nahid Parvez.
This is Tahsan’s second playback song. He made his debut in the format with ‘Chhunye dile mon’ which was a hit number.
Talking about the ‘Musafir’ song, Tahsan said, “Everyone has tagged me as a romantic singer but ‘Poth jana nei’ is not of the genre I sing usually. I have never lent my voice in such a song which belongs to the urban pop kind.”
“I think this type song is a new addition to Bangladeshi cinema,” the former ‘Black’ band member added.
“Most of our film songs are either item numbers or romantic. But, the ‘Musafir’ song is completely different from others. We should promote this kind of songs more. The music director is also very talented and he did an excellent job,” Tahsan said.
Tahsan, the multifaceted artiste, has been a popular voice in Bangla music scene for years. But, his acting career for TV plays is something which brought him in hearts of millions.
